3 Card Poker Rules
Three card poker is played with one 52 card deck of playing cards. The hand rankings are slightly different than the regular poker hand rankings as there are less possible hands to make (No full house, four of a kind or royal flush) and a straight pays more than a flush.
Game Rules
- One 52 card deck is used
- Ante Bonus pays as per pay table
- Pair Plus pays as per pay table
- Player may bet on Ante, Pair Plus or both
- Player is dealt three cards
- Dealer is dealt three cards face down
- If only Pair Plus bet is made the hand is now resolved
- If player has a pair or better player wins
- If both bets or only Ante were made player may fold or play
- If player chooses to play a bet equal to the ante is placed on play
- If player folds any Pair Plus bet is also lost
- If player bet on play the player and dealer hands are compared
- The dealer need to have Queen or higher to qualify
- If dealer does not qualify,
- Player gets paid 1 to 1 on Ante and Play bet is returned
- If an Ante Bonus is available player can win
- If dealer qualifies,
- Player and dealers hand are compared
- If dealers hand beats players hand player loses Ante / Play
- If players hand beats dealers player wins 1 to 1 on bets
- Ante Bonus is won even if players hand loses
- If Pair Plus bet was made with Ante / Play any wins are now paid
Hand Rankings in Three Card Poker
- Straight Flush - Three consecutive cards of the same suit
- Three of a Kind - Three cards of the same value
- Straight - Three consecutive cards of different suits
- Flush - Three non consecutive cards of the same suit
- Pair - Two cards of the same value
- High Card - None of the hands listed above
